Peter Sassenfeld

Born in 1966, has been a member of the Executive Board of HOCHTIEF Aktiengesellschaft in Essen since November 2011. As Chief Financial Officer of HOCHTIEF Aktiengesellschaft, he is responsible for the Group departments Mergers and Acquisitions, Controlling, Finance, Capital Markets Strategy/Investor Relations, Accounting and Taxes, and Insurance. He has also been CFO of HOCHTIEF Solutions AG since July 2015.

Sassenfeld studied business administration at Saarland University. After completing his studies, he initially worked in various management positions at Mannesmann in Germany and abroad. He then managed the global mergers and acquisitions activities of the Bayer Group in Leverkusen. He has worked for the KraussMaffei Group in Munich since October 2005, and as CFO of KraussMaffei AG from February 2007. In May 2010, Sassenfeld took over as CFO of Ferrostaal AG in Essen.
