Melanie Parker has a diverse work experience spanning over a period of several years. Melanie began their career in 1998 at Little Priest Tribal College, where they worked as a Receptionist until 2005 and then transitioned into the role of Accounts Payable until 2006. In 2006, they joined Ho-Chunk, Inc. as the Operations Office Manager. In this role, they served as the Assistant to the COO and was responsible for coordinating various projects aimed at addressing the company's community initiatives. Melanie then moved up to the position of Senior Project Specialist at Ho-Chunk, Inc. in 2015, where they currently work.

Melanie Parker obtained their Associate's Degree in Business Administration and Management, with a specialization in General Management, from Little Priest Tribal College. Melanie pursued their education from 2011 to 2015.
