Thorsten Oberschmidt

Thorsten Oberschmidt has a diverse work experience in the beverage industry. Thorsten started their career in 2000 at The Coca-Cola Company, where they worked as a Management Trainee and later as a Commercialisation Manager. Thorsten then joined Coca-Cola Erfrischungsgetränke AG in 2003 as a Project Manager and Packaging Specialist. In 2004, they became a Plant Manager at the same company. Thorsten further advanced their career by becoming the Managing Director and Technical Director at Rhein-Main-Sieg Getränke GmbH (Coca-Cola) from 2006 to 2009. Thorsten then took on a role as the Functional Lead Manufacturing at Coca-Cola Erfrischungsgetränke AG from 2009 to 2011. Thorsten then joined Refresco Deutschland in 2011 as the Manufacturing Director Germany. Their most recent role is as the Chief Operating Officer at Hochwald Foods GmbH, a position they have held since August 2017.

Thorsten Oberschmidt completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Brewery and Beverage Technology from the Technical University of Munich, where they attended from 1994 to 1999. Additionally, they obtained an Executive Certificate in Management from the University of St.Gallen, attending from 2008 to 2009.
