Hockey Canada
Edward Garinger, ChPC, serves as the Director of Player Personnel and Assistant Coach for the Stayner Siskins Junior Hockey Club since June 2023. With a long-standing career in hockey and education, Edward has been a Program Coordinator and Instructor for the Bear Creek Hockey Canada Skills Academy since March 2016 and a Secondary School Teacher with the Simcoe County District School Board since September 2001. Additionally, Edward holds positions as an NCCP Coach Learning Facilitator for the Ontario Minor Hockey Association and Consulting Coach for the Bear Creek Secondary School Varsity Hockey Program, where notable achievements include GBSSA and OFSAA championships. Previous coaching experience encompassed roles with the Alliston Hornets Junior Hockey Club and the Kitchener Dutchmen OHA. Edward's educational background includes Bachelor degrees in Education and Arts from multiple institutions, including York University and Nipissing University.

Hockey Canada
Hockey Canada is the national governing body for grassroots hockey in this country. The organization works in conjunction with the 13 provincial branches, the Canadian Hockey League and a number of associate member organizations in growing the game at all levels. Hockey Canada oversees the management of programs in Canada from entry-level to high performance teams and competitions, including world championships and the Olympic Winter Games. Hockey Canada is also Canada’s voice within the International Ice Hockey Federation. Hockey Canada has offices in Calgary and Ottawa, and operates regional centres in Western Canada, Ontario and Quebec. ********* Hockey Canada est l’organisation nationale régissant le hockey local partout au pays. L’organisation travaille en collaboration avec les 13 divisions provinciales, la Ligue canadienne de hockey et plusieurs organisations membres associées pour la croissance du jeu à tous les niveaux.
