Jason Barron is a seasoned goaltending professional with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as the Goalie Coach for the Niagara IceDogs since August 2021, Jason facilitates on-ice and off-ice development for goaltenders and conducts video analysis. As the Head Goaltending Instructor and Regional Coordinator for Ben Vanderklok Goaltending since March 2008, Jason manages lessons and clinics for goalies of all ages. Additional roles include Head of Goalie Development and Director of Hockey Operations at Ridley College, where Jason oversees the goaltender development for both Prep Boys and Girls hockey programs, and an instructor for the Hockey Canada Minor Hockey Development Camps. Past positions also include Player Development for the Erie Otters Hockey Club and various coaching roles within minor hockey associations. Jason graduated with a Sport Management degree from Brock University in 2016, further solidifying a professional foundation in sports education and management.

Hockey Canada
Hockey Canada is the national governing body for grassroots hockey in this country. The organization works in conjunction with the 13 provincial branches, the Canadian Hockey League and a number of associate member organizations in growing the game at all levels. Hockey Canada oversees the management of programs in Canada from entry-level to high performance teams and competitions, including world championships and the Olympic Winter Games. Hockey Canada is also Canada’s voice within the International Ice Hockey Federation. Hockey Canada has offices in Calgary and Ottawa, and operates regional centres in Western Canada, Ontario and Quebec. ********* Hockey Canada est l’organisation nationale régissant le hockey local partout au pays. L’organisation travaille en collaboration avec les 13 divisions provinciales, la Ligue canadienne de hockey et plusieurs organisations membres associées pour la croissance du jeu à tous les niveaux.
