Jesse Albers, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Starting in 1999 with Consultec Ltd., Jesse worked as a Drafter for over a year before moving on to Trinity|ERD as a Designer. From 2006 to 2017, Jesse held several roles at the Walton Group of Companies, including SVP positions in Information Technology, Master Data Management, and Geographic Information Systems. In 2017, Jesse became the Managing Partner at Peak Division Inc. before joining Hockey Canada in 2018. At Hockey Canada, Jesse initially served as the Director of IT, then became the Director of Operations, and currently holds the position of Vice President of Operations. With this diverse background, Jesse brings valuable expertise and leadership skills to each role.
Jesse Albers, MBA, has a diverse education history spanning several institutions and fields of study. In 1996, they attended the University of Victoria, where they studied Geography. Following this, from 1997 to 2000, Jesse pursued an Associate's Degree in Civil Engineering Technology at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). In 2004-2005, they attended the British Columbia Institute of Technology, focusing on Environmental Engineering Technology and earning a Bachelor's Degree. Most recently, in 2016-2017, Jesse completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Executive Management and International Business at Royal Roads University. Alongside their formal education, Jesse Albers obtained additional certifications to enhance their skills. In October 2017, they obtained certifications in "Analyzing Your Website to Improve SEO" and "Danny Sullivan on SEO" through LinkedIn.
Hockey Canada
Hockey Canada is the national governing body for grassroots hockey in this country. The organization works in conjunction with the 13 provincial branches, the Canadian Hockey League and a number of associate member organizations in growing the game at all levels. Hockey Canada oversees the management of programs in Canada from entry-level to high performance teams and competitions, including world championships and the Olympic Winter Games. Hockey Canada is also Canada’s voice within the International Ice Hockey Federation. Hockey Canada has offices in Calgary and Ottawa, and operates regional centres in Western Canada, Ontario and Quebec. ********* Hockey Canada est l’organisation nationale régissant le hockey local partout au pays. L’organisation travaille en collaboration avec les 13 divisions provinciales, la Ligue canadienne de hockey et plusieurs organisations membres associées pour la croissance du jeu à tous les niveaux.
