Kevin Miehm has a diverse work experience in the field of hockey. Kevin started their career in the National Hockey League as a player in 1989 and continued until 2001. In 2001, they co-owned a company called Train Like A Pro. Later in 2005, they founded Hockey Speed and Power Canada where they served as the Owner and Head of Athletic Development. In this role, they combined their extensive NHL, IHL, and European Elite League experience with their knowledge of Kinesiology and Psychology.
Kevin Miehm has a diverse education history. Kevin started their education in 1983 at St. Jerome's High School, where they were on the honor roll for grades 9-11. After graduating with honors from Henry Street High School in 1989, they pursued a degree in Business Administration and Management, General.
In 1992, Kevin enrolled at the University of Waterloo, initially studying Kinesiology. However, they completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Kinesiology from the same university in 1995.
During their education, Kevin also had extensive experience in hockey. From 1989 to 2001, they participated in the NHL and European Elite League, developing both their hockey skills and life skills.
In addition to their academic accomplishments, Kevin has obtained certifications to enhance their expertise. In 2009, they earned a Specialist in Performance Nutrition certification from the ISSA. Kevin also holds a Certified Fitness Trainer certification and a Specialist in Sports Conditioning certification from the International Sports Science Association.

Hockey Canada
Hockey Canada is the national governing body for grassroots hockey in this country. The organization works in conjunction with the 13 provincial branches, the Canadian Hockey League and a number of associate member organizations in growing the game at all levels. Hockey Canada oversees the management of programs in Canada from entry-level to high performance teams and competitions, including world championships and the Olympic Winter Games. Hockey Canada is also Canada’s voice within the International Ice Hockey Federation. Hockey Canada has offices in Calgary and Ottawa, and operates regional centres in Western Canada, Ontario and Quebec. ********* Hockey Canada est l’organisation nationale régissant le hockey local partout au pays.
