Simon Lowry

Simon Lowry is an experienced talent development manager and coach in hockey, currently serving Hockey Ireland since December 2015. In addition to managing talent development, Simon has held the roles of U18 Boys Head Coach and U16 Boys Head Coach, focusing on creating a supportive environment for young athletes in international hockey. Prior to this, Simon served as Director of Hockey at Holy Child Killiney, overseeing all hockey-related activities, coaching teams, and enhancing the player pathway. Simon's coaching experience extends to various clubs and schools, including Leinster Hockey Association and Three Rock Rovers Hockey Club, with a strong emphasis on tactical development, video analysis, and player motivation. Simon holds a Master’s Degree in Coaching Science in Sport and a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce International from University College Dublin, supplemented by education at ESCP Business School.
