HOCKING-ATHENS PERRY COMMUNITY ACTION
Matthew Petrik has a diverse work experience. Matthew started their career as a Brand Ambassador for Beam Suntory, where they served as a direct channel for customers at the Urban Stillhouse, providing tasting experiences and educating participants on bourbon tasting. Matthew then worked as a Construction Worker for Doug Michel Construction Co., where they gained skills in various areas of construction and learned to work well with a team. Matthew later joined Hocking Athens Perry Community Action (HAPCAP) as a Staff Accountant, responsible for recording and documenting cash receipts, generating journal entries, maintaining bank reconciliations, and managing budgets. Matthew also served as an Interim Controller, leading the monthly closing of books, reconciling program values, and preparing financial statements. Currently, Matthew holds the position of Deputy Director of Finance at HAPCAP.
Matthew Petrik completed their Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance, General at Bellarmine University from 2012 to 2016. Matthew later pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Ohio University from 2017 to 2018.
