Sophia Blackwell

Sophia Blackwell is a highly experienced podcaster, radio presenter, and producer at ResonanceFM since September 2019, specializing in long-form audio content and having conducted over 200 interviews in the LGBT+ arts scene. In addition to this role, Sophia has been an editor for Reedsy since February 2010, working with clients such as Bloomsbury Publishing and Oxford University Press, and supporting self-publishing authors. As a marketing manager at Hodder Education, from April 2018, impactful strategies were developed that increased subscriptions significantly, alongside leading communication initiatives for the Hachette Pride LGBTQ+ Network. Previous marketing management positions at major organizations such as Media 10 Ltd, The Bookseller, and Bloomsbury Publishing highlight a proven track record in executing successful marketing campaigns and building strong retail partnerships. Sophia holds a BA Hons Double 1st Class in English from the University of Oxford.
