Simon Foxcroft

Solicitor at Hodge Jones & Allen

Simon joined Hodge Jones & Allen in December 2022. Prior to this he was at his previous firm for 6 years, first as a trainee and then as a qualified solicitor as part of their litigation team where he gained a great deal of experience in a broad range of many different civil litigation matters. He is now part of Hodge Jones & Allen’s Housing Team where he specialises in all types of Property and Housing matters including Landlord and Tenant disputes, Possession claims, Property ownership and Boundary disputes and other related matters.

Simon came into the legal profession later in his life after first enjoying a career in retail management and buying. He always had an interest in the law and decided to pursue a career in it by studying and retraining to be a solicitor whilst also being a stay-at-home dad for a couple of years when his children were very young. Simon achieved a First in his law degree and then passed the LPC (Legal Practice Course) with a distinction.

He prides himself on being able to create good relationships with his clients and being able to provide clear and quality advice in order to achieve the best possible outcome for his client’s in any given situation. Simon also considers it vitally important that any advice given is always as practical and efficient as possible (with a view to stop matters from being dragged out longer than they need to be) and that it is always given in a way that his client’s fully understand.
