Shannon Kennedy

Shannon Kennedy is a seasoned professional in real estate and higher education development, currently serving as a Broker at Hodge & Kittrell Sotheby's International Realty since December 2018. Prior experience includes a notable tenure at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from July 1997 to June 2014, where Shannon held various leadership roles including Sr. Associate Dean and Executive Director of the Arts and Sciences Foundation, as well as Director of Capital Gifts and Regional Development Officer. Shannon's career also features positions at Vanderbilt University as Director of External Affairs for the Owen Graduate School of Management, and at Vanderbilt University Medical Center as Development Program Coordinator for the Vanderbilt Cancer Center. Earlier roles included Assistant Director at the Wellness Council of North Carolina and Director of Business Health at Annie Penn Memorial Hospital. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Duke University, earned between 1985 and 1989.
