Brandon R. Cottrell

Brandon is a member of the Real Estate and Finance Practice, where he focuses on commercial real estate and finance transactions.

Brandon regularly represents clients on a local and national basis in the acquisition, disposition, financing, developing and leasing of shopping centers, office (both general and medical), industrial/manufacturing and warehouse space, mixed use and multifamily properties. Notable development projects that Brandon has assisted on include casinos, golf courses/country clubs, hotels/resorts, solar and wind farms and student housing.

Additionally, he represents borrowers and lenders (both traditional and nontraditional) in various financing transactions, including construction and permanent mortgage financing, asset based lending, equity and other mezzanine financing, bridge loans, credit facilities (secured and unsecured) and equipment leases.

Brandon has significant experience in, and dedicates a portion of his practice to, public finance transactions (including private activity bonds, tax credits and payments-in-lieu-of-taxes agreements), public-private partnerships, tax deferred exchanges, joint ventures and advising clients on general corporate matters.
