Michael Hecker

Michael Hecker is a Partner at Hodgson Russ LLP, specializing in environmental and energy law since November 2010. With extensive experience in assisting clients with transactional issues, remediation projects, regulatory enforcement, permitting, and environmental risk counseling, Michael has developed a broad-based practice in this field. Previously, Michael served as a Senior Associate and Associate within the Environmental & Energy and Cleantech Practice Groups. Additionally, Michael has academic experience as an Adjunct Faculty member at SUNY Buffalo Law School, where instruction focused on international legal advocacy. Prior to Hodgson Russ LLP, Michael worked as an Associate at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP, concentrating on Mergers & Acquisitions and Securities law. Michael holds a JD from the University at Buffalo School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from SUNY Geneseo.
