Lucian Popescu has a diverse work experience in the software development field. Lucian began their career in 2008 as a C++ Developer at EE-Software Enterprise, where they worked on software applications for stock management and accounting. Lucian then moved on to Intelicoders, where they were involved in architecture, database design, development, testing, and maintenance of a software application for retail services.
In 2009, Lucian joined ClinicDr as a Software Developer, focusing on the development, testing, bug fixing, and maintenance of an online application for Ehr & Billing in chiropractic and physical medicine clinics. Lucian later worked at Leoni as an IT Engineer, where they contributed to various applications and tools used for monitoring production within a factory.
From 2010 to 2013, Lucian worked at LASTING Software as a Software Developer, specializing in the design, development, maintenance, and bug fixing of a software development platform. Lucian then worked at Ametras Romania as a Senior Software Engineer, developing different software projects for outsourcing clients.
In 2012, Lucian began their freelance career as a .NET Software Developer, working with different clients and providing consultancy, software solutions, and domain expertise. Lucian also led development teams and coached them in new technologies and best practices.
In 2015, Lucian joined Coolblue as a Software Developer, where they were responsible for building intuitive user interfaces and automating pricing processes. Lucian later joined VI Company in 2017 as a Software Developer, working on high-impact software solutions for important companies within the financial markets. Lucian'sresponsibilities included backend components, architecture, coaching junior developers, and using agile methodologies.
Lucian'smost recent role was as the Lead Software Developer at Hodl Funds, starting in 2023.
Lucian Popescu earned a degree in Automation from the "Aurel Vlaicu" University of Arad, Romania, where they studied from 2004 to 2009. In addition, they have obtained certifications from Microsoft and IBM, specifically Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals and COBOL Programming with VSCode, respectively.
