Christy Murphy Aia

Christy Murphy, AIA has over 20 years of experience in the architectural industry. Christy began their career at Rees Associates in 1997 as a Project Manager, where they worked until 2004. Christy then joined RTKL as an Associate, later becoming a Project Architect. In 2013, Murphy joined Perkins+Will as a Sr. Associate, focusing on healthcare projects and IPD delivery. During their time at Perkins+Will, they managed multiple large-scale projects, including patient bed tower additions, imaging renovations, and ICU overbuilds. In 2016, Murphy joined Hoefer Welker as Vice President and Sr. Project Manager, where they worked on a large academic teaching hospital project in Dallas. Their responsibilities included managing the overall scope of the project and collaborating with various stakeholders.

Christy Murphy, AIA attended Texas A&M University from 1992 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Environmental Design degree in Architecture. Christy then pursued a Master of Architecture degree at The University of Texas at Arlington from 1999 to 2002. No additional certifications or information regarding the time of obtaining the AIA certification or the institution from which it was obtained are provided.
