Siem Klijn has extensive experience in mechanical engineering and product management, currently serving as Lead Mechanical Engineer for Special Products at Skalar Analytical B.V. since August 2018, focusing on the development of engineered-to-order automation systems for laboratories and the standardization of product lines. Prior to this, Klijn held the position of Manager Special Products at Skalar Analytical B.V. and was a Global Product Manager at Vitronics Soltec, managing selective and wave soldering machines. Klijn began their career at Lubron Waterbehandeling BV as a Junior Project Engineer and has held various mechanical engineering roles across multiple companies, contributing to new product development and project management. Klijn holds a Bachelor's degree in Product Management and a Post Bachelor in Project Management, complemented by a BSC in Mechanical Engineering from Avans University of Applied Sciences.
