Mauro Sagrestano

Mauro Sagrestano has significant experience in the maritime industry, particularly in the field of liquefied natural gas (LNG) transportation. Mauro started their career in 2001 as a 3rd Engineer (2nd Assistant Engineer) at Pronav LNG, where they worked until 2004. From 2005 to 2012, they worked at Shell LNG as a 1st Assistant Engineer (2nd Engineer). Afterwards, they joined Golar LNG as a 2nd Engineer (1st Assistant Engineer) from 2012 to 2014. Following their time at Golar LNG, they joined Hoegh LNG in 2014 as a 2nd Engineer (1st Assistant Engineer) for LNGC & FSRU until 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Engineer at Hoegh LNG starting from 2021.

Mauro Sagrestano obtained their Engineer's Degree in Maritime Engineering from Dubrovnik Maritime University in the years 2011 to 2012. Prior to this, they completed their Engineer's Degree in Maritime Engineering from Maritime Engineering College Dubrovnik from 1984 to 1988.
