Thomas Thorkildsen

Thomas Thorkildsen has a strong background in the LNG industry, with extensive experience in business development and commercial management. Thomas started their career at Høegh LNG in 2004 as Vice President and Head of Commercial Management, where they served for nine years. Thomas then moved on to Hoegh LNG AS as Senior Vice President and Head of Commercial Management for a brief period in 2013. Later that same year, they transitioned to the role of Senior Vice President and Head of Business Development at Hoegh LNG AS, where they stayed until 2016. In 2017, Thomas joined FLEXLNG as Senior Vice President of Business Development before returning to Høegh LNG in 2018. At Høegh LNG, they initially held the position of Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing before being promoted to Chief Commercial Officer in 2022.

Thomas Thorkildsen completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Nautical Science from the University of South-Eastern Norway, where they attended from 1996 to 1999. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Shipping, Trade & Finance from Cass Business School, which they completed between 2002 and 2003.
