Nick Taylor

Nick Taylor is a highly experienced technician specializing in transmission systems, currently serving as the Transmission Test and Development Lead Technician at Hofer Powertrain since October 2017. In this role, Nick is responsible for the build and testing of prototype powertrain systems, including an 8-speed DCT Hybrid transmission. Previously, Nick held the position of Transmission Supervisor at JRM Group from April 2011 to May 2017, managing the daily operations of the Transmission department and overseeing the assembly of various motorsport transmissions. Nick's earlier experience includes serving as a Transmission Senior Technician at Prodrive, where daily operations focused on the Rally transmission workshop and on-event support for the Subaru World Rally Team. Nick's career began as a Rally car build and event support Technician at SBG Sport (UK) Limited, contributing to the assembly of the Works F2 Kit Car for Volkswagen Motorsport UK and providing support at British and World Championship events.
