Steve King

Steve King has extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Steve began their career at Ricardo in 2006, where they worked as an Engineer for five years. Steve then joined Tata Motors European Technical Centre (TMETC) in 2011, initially as a Principal Engineer and later elevated to the position of Lead Engineer. In 2018, Steve joined hofer powertrain as a Principal Engineer, responsible for the full development and delivery of production intent e-machine and inverter products. In January 2019, they were promoted to the role of Chief Engineer - Electrical Systems, where they managed the hofer UK electrical team and oversaw the development of hybrid and BEV applications.

Steve King obtained a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Warwick, where they studied from 2002 to 2006.
