Head of Sneaker Design at Hoff

Alberto G. has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of footwear design. Alberto started their career as a Footwear Designer at REPLAY (Sugi International Ltd) in 2007, and then moved on to work as a ZARA MAN Advanced Mens Footwear Designer at Inditex from 2008 to 2016. In this role, they traveled to factories for prototype development and conducted trend research for material sourcing.

From 2016 to 2017, Alberto worked as a Freelancer, serving as the Creative Director for a luxury sneaker brand project in Shanghai. Alberto was responsible for building the brand concept, identifying market niche and clients, and creating a range of men's and women's sneakers made from high-quality Italian leathers.

In 2017, Alberto joined NOVI FOOTWEAR as an Advanced Sneaker Designer, where they worked until 2022. Alberto then joined Levi Strauss & Co. in 2019 as a Senior Footwear Designer and worked until 2022.

Most recently, Alberto became the Head of Sneaker Design at HOFF in 2018, where they are currently employed.

Alberto G. began their education in the year 2000 at Universidad CEU San Pablo, where they pursued an Industrial Design Engineering Degree, specializing in Ingenieria tecnica en Diseño Industrial. Alberto completed this degree in 2003. Alberto then went on to attend Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) from 2003 to 2005, where they obtained a Master's degree in Car design / Master en diseño del automóvil.

In 2005, Alberto enrolled at Pforzheim University, where they participated in Car design Projects, although no specific degree or field of study is specified for this period. Alberto completed this program in 2006. Finally, from 2006 to 2007, Alberto attended Inescop and obtained a Professional Specialism Diploma in Footwear Design (Diploma de Especialización Profesional en Diseño de Calzado).
