Ian Gelfand

Ian Gelfand, CPA, is a Partner at Hoffman Stewart & Schmidt P.C., a full-service public accounting firm specializing in audit and assurance services for not-for-profits and closely held businesses since July 2013. Gelfand has progressed through various roles including Senior Manager, Manager, and Senior Associate, while the firm has consistently been recognized as one of Portland's Top 15 accounting firms. Prior to this role, Gelfand served as an Accounting Clerk at Storables, where responsibilities included processing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling freight bills, and implementing new auditing processes that significantly reduced errors. Gelfand holds a Post Baccalaureate degree in Accounting from Portland State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications Technology from Indiana University Bloomington.
