Thomas Greif has a diverse work experience in various fields. Thomas started their career as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Society in 2009 and worked there until 2012. Following this, they joined Harvard University as a Postdoctoral Researcher from 2012 to 2015. Thomas then transitioned into the corporate world and worked at Audi AG as an IT Security Expert from 2015 to 2018. Most recently, they are working at Hofmann & Stirner as a Senior Software Developer in Digital Engineering since February 2019.

Thomas Greif began their education in physics at The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg in 2002, where they earned their Vordiplom degree. Thomas then continued their studies at The University of Texas at Austin, where they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Physics from 2005 to 2006. Subsequently, Greif pursued a Ph.D. in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics at Heidelberg University from 2006 to 2009.
