Kim Pind has extensive experience in the energy industry, particularly in the field of wind energy. Kim has held several roles at HOFOR A/S, starting as an Economic Consultant in 2005 and eventually becoming the Head of Offshore Development in 2018. In these roles, their responsibilities included managing offshore projects, developing strategies, pursuing mergers and partnerships, and handling public affairs. Kim has been involved in various offshore wind projects, including Nordre Flint Wind Farm and Aflandshage Wind Farm. Additionally, Kim served as a Chief Consultant and Special Consultant in Wind Energy at HOFOR, where they further contributed to strategy development, project management, and public affairs. In 2012, they joined Dansk Energi as a member of the committee on renewable energy, advising the organization on the promotion of renewable energy in Denmark. Kim also served as a Board Member at Prøvestenens Vindmøllelaug I/S and worked as a Forest Consultant at the Research Center for Forest & Landscape. Kim began their career as an Assistant Accountant at the Danish Forest and Nature Agency and worked as a Forestry Worker at Falkensten Estate. Kim Pind obtained a Bachelor's degree in Forestry from Den Kgl. Veterinær- og Landbohøjskole in 1999, and later went on to earn a Master's degree in the same field from the same institution in 2003. In 2004, Kim enrolled at Copenhagen University College of Engineering to pursue a degree in Project Management - Methods and Tools, completing the program in 2005. Finally, in 2005, Kim attended the Association of Danish Project Management and became certified as an IPMA Certified Project Manager.
