Arno H. Fried

Arno H. Fried is a trustee at Hofstra University. Arno has also served as the director of pediatric neurosurgery at Morristown Memorial Hospital, the chairman of neuroscience institute and neurosurgery at Hackensack University Medical Center, and an associate professor of neurosurgery and pediatrics at New York Medical College. Dr. Fried is a highly accomplished neurosurgeon with over 25 years of experience.

Arno H. Fried earned their Bachelor of Science from the Sophie Davis Center for Biomedical Education at City College of New York. Arno then attended Meharry Medical College to earn their Doctor of Medicine. Dr. Fried completed an internship in surgical intern at Montefiore Medical Center, University Hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Arno then completed a junior/assistant/senior residency in neurological surgery at Montefiore Medical Center, University Hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Fried was a research fellow in CSF psychology at Montefiore Medical Center, University Hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Arno then completed a chief residency in neurological surgery at Bronx Municipal Hospital and Montefiore Hospital. Dr. Fried completed a chief residency in pediatric and adult neurological surgery at Primary Children's Medical Center and University of Utah Medical Cetner. Arno was also a fellow in pediatric neurosurgery and neuro-oncology at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
