Barbara Roberts is an accomplished entrepreneur and leader with extensive experience in various sectors, including academia, finance, and innovation. Currently serving as Entrepreneur in Residence at the Eugene M. Lang Entrepreneurship Center at Columbia Business School since 2008 and at Hofstra University since 2015, Roberts focuses on teaching key entrepreneurial methodologies and creating supportive programs for business owners. As the founder and president of Roberts & Company, Roberts aids diverse clients in fostering entrepreneurship and leadership development, particularly for women. Additionally, Roberts has held leadership positions in organizations such as the Women Presidents' Organization and TIGER 21, and has served on the Suffolk County Planning Commission. With a background as CEO of Acoustiguide, Roberts transformed the company into a leading audio service provider and has also held key roles at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and FPG International. Roberts holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and Philosophy from Goucher College.
