Desray K. Desir

Desray K. Desir serves as the Graduate Resident Director at Hofstra University since July 2024, overseeing the training and supervision of 22 resident assistants, managing a first-year residence hall for about 600 students, and participating in emergency on-call rotations. Previously, Desray held multiple roles at Hofstra, including Senior Resident Assistant, Resident Success Student Coordinator, and Resident Assistant, contributing to residence management and student support initiatives. Desray has also gained experience in data science and AI as a Breakthrough Tech AI Fellow at Cornell Tech and held internships with Grant Thornton International Ltd and EY, assisting with IT and audit teams. Desray holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Cybersecurity and is pursuing a Master of Science in Health Informatics at Hofstra University.
