Emily Mundorff is a seasoned academic and professional in the field of chemistry with a robust background in both education and industry. Currently serving as an Associate Professor of Chemistry at Hofstra University since September 2012, Emily previously held the position of Assistant Professor of Chemistry at the same institution. Prior to that, an Interdisciplinary Science Fellow at Vassar College from January 2011 to August 2012, Emily also gained valuable industry experience as a Staff Scientist at Codexis from 2003 to 2009 and as a Bioinformatics Scientist at Maxygen from 2000 to 2003. Emily holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley (1996-2000) and a BA in Chemistry from Vassar College (1992-1996).
