Tomeka Robinson

Tomeka Robinson, PhD, serves as the Senior Associate Dean of the Honors College and Full Professor of Rhetoric & Public Advocacy alongside the role of Director of Forensics at Hofstra University since August 2014. Prior experience includes presidency roles in Pi Kappa Delta, promoting ethical communication and expanding access in forensic education, and a term as President of the Board at Mid-Ohio Valley Fellowship Home, a recovery program for substance abuse. Robinson also held faculty positions at Marietta College, focusing on health communication and forensics, and has experience in public relations through internships with the George Bush Foundation and Be The Match. Academically, Robinson holds a PhD in Public Health Education and Promotion from Texas A&M University and has a strong foundation in communication and biology.
