Amy Freed is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in securities law. Currently serving as a Partner at Hogan & Hartson and Hogan Lovells since June 1995, Amy provides counsel to companies and individuals on various securities law matters. Previous roles include a faculty member at Ali-Aba from 2000 to 2008, where Amy educated on the federal securities regulatory system, and a member of the FINRA National Adjudicatory Council from 2003 to 2006, responsible for reviewing disciplinary decisions. Additionally, Amy co-taught law courses at Georgetown University Law Center from 1997 to 2000 and held the position of Deputy Chief Counsel at the US Securities and Exchange Commission from 1993 to 1995. Amy holds a BA from Tulane University and a JD from the University of Baltimore School of Law.
