Emily Busse

Emily Busse is a seasoned legal recruiting professional with extensive experience in managing recruitment operations across various prestigious law firms. Currently serving as Manager of US Associate Recruiting Operations at Hogan Lovells since May 2023, Busse has owned and operated District Legal Recruiting since July 2016. Previous roles include Legal Recruiting Manager at Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox, and Associate Development and Recruitment Manager at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP. Busse also served as Manager of Recruiting and Professional Development at Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP and Manager of Attorney Recruiting and Professional Development at K&L Gates. Emily holds a JD from Florida State College of Law and a BA in Criminal Justice from The George Washington University.
