Monique Bicknese

Monique Bicknese has extensive experience in legal and administrative roles within educational institutions. Currently serving as the Secretary of the Board of Governance and Head of Administrative Matters at Hogeschool Inholland since November 2017, Monique additionally holds the position of Head of Legal Affairs and acts as a Senior Legal Policy Advisor/Coordinator for the Educational Guidance Support Team. Monique is also an active member of various committees at Curio, contributing to exam appeals, admission and removal complaints, and whistleblower proceedings. Previously, Monique served in multiple capacities at Avans Hogeschool, JuriaMo, and the Klachtencommissie Rijnmond, along with teaching Italian at Volksuniversiteit Breda. Monique's educational background includes a Master's degree in Law from Leiden University and a Bachelor's degree in Italian Translation from ITV Hogeschool voor Tolken & Vertalen, complemented by a mediator certification.
