Renée Hendriks

Renée Hendriks is an educational researcher and advisor currently serving at Hogeschool Inholland in the Lectoraat Studiesucces since September 2022. Previously, Renée worked as an educational researcher and advisor at Leiden University Medical Center from October 2016 to August 2022, focusing on designing and conducting educational research, including a review study on autonomous motivation and self-regulated learning. Renée also coordinated a Half Minor in Medical Education for third-year (bio)Medical students and contributed to a dissertation on the integration of medical Massive Open Online Courses into campus education. Renée’s research interests encompass online and blended learning, instructional design quality, open educational resources, motivation for learning, and self-regulated learning. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Medical Education from Leiden University, a Master's degree in Education and Communication in Mathematics and Natural Sciences from the University of Groningen, and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences from the same institution.
