Bart-Jan Steerenberg

Bart-Jan Steerenberg is a seasoned creative professional with extensive experience in design and digital media. As the Founder of The Institute of Creativity since April 2023, Bart-Jan is also a Co-Founder and Lecturer in Design at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, where responsibilities include researching creativity and teaching various design disciplines. Previously, Bart-Jan served as Owner and Creative Director at Deviator, managing projects for high-profile clients such as Financieel Dagblad and the European Union. Bart-Jan co-owned Backseat Travellers, a location-based gaming platform for children, and held various roles in media and design at companies like EuroRSCG and Chello Media. With a Master's degree in Communication Studies from the University of Amsterdam, Bart-Jan combines a solid educational background with a diverse portfolio in motion design, visual design, and interactive media.
