Folkert Oostra

Folkert Oostra has a diverse work experience. Folkert started their career at Shell Kriterion, where they worked as a Medewerker en bestuurslid from July 2012 to June 2015. Folkert then joined the Union Cycliste Internationale as a Professional Athlete from January 2017 to January 2020, participating in various professional cycling races. Currently, they are working at Hogeschool van Amsterdam, where they held several roles, including Business Operations Coordinator from September 2015 to April 2021, Senior Business Controller from May 2021 to November 2022, and currently serves as the Head of Finance, Planning & Control.

Folkert Oostra completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in General Management from the University of Amsterdam - Amsterdam Business School from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MSc.) degree in Strategy & Organization from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2013 to 2015. Their education journey started with a Bachelor's degree in Human Movement Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2008 to 2012.
