Jan van Eck

Jan van Eck is a seasoned professional in the fields of commercial economics and sport marketing, currently serving as a docent at Hogeschool van Amsterdam since March 2012. Prior experience includes roles as a senior advisor at DSP-groep from March 2009 to February 2011, and at Marktplan Adviesgroep from January 2002 to February 2009. Jan began a career in municipal sports and recreation policy as a beleidsmedewerker at Gemeente Almere from December 1997 to December 2001. Educational qualifications include a degree from Sport Management Instituut (2000-2001), studies at Leiden University (1988-1994), a brief period at George Mason University (1993), and completion of VWO at Koningin Wilhelmina College (1981-1988).
