Léon Raijmann

Léon Raijmann has a strong background in IT management, information management consultancy, and higher education. Léon currently serves as the Head of IT & Information at the Faculty of Education at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences since November 2020. Prior to that, Léon worked as a self-employed IT Manager, Information Management Consultant, Manager of Higher Education, and e-learning specialist from 2017 to 2020. Léon has also held various roles at University of Amsterdam, including Business Developer, IT Manager Group Education and Research Services, Head Educational Technology department, Process Coordinator, Project Leader, and Assistant Professor. Additionally, Léon has experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, focusing on metal stress as an evolutionary factor shaping genetic composition.

Léon Raijmann completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Ecology, Evolution, Systematics, and Population Biology at the University of Amsterdam in 1996.
