Marco van Hees

Marco van Hees is a seasoned researcher and educator specializing in circular business modeling and sustainable entrepreneurship. Currently serving as a PhD Researcher at Maastricht University, Marco also holds a senior researcher position at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, where responsibilities include facilitating circular business models and teaching Systems Innovation and Circular Business. As a founder and expert in BeeOmimicry and apitherapy, Marco actively promotes biodiversity and community engagement. With extensive experience as a trainer and consultant, Marco has worked internationally with local SMEs and cooperatives to enhance sustainable practices. Previous roles include management positions at Tata Steel Europe and media consultancy, alongside a robust academic background in economics and marketing.
