Mayke Steeman

Mayke Steeman is an experienced project manager and communication advisor with a focus on digital commerce and innovation within the retail sector. Since July 2017, Mayke has worked at the HvA Centre for Market Insights and the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, overseeing research projects and coordinating communication among partners, researchers, and students. Additionally, Mayke has contributed to the Retail Innovation Platform and has held various project management roles at Shopping Tomorrow, enhancing understanding of retail technology and city center developments. Prior to these roles, Mayke managed corporate events at VCK Travel, where responsibilities included planning and executing business meetings and marketing strategies. Mayke holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Facility Management and multiple certifications, including a NIMA A in Digital Marketing.
