Paul Bonsema

Paul Bonsema has over 35 years of extensive experience in engineering education, currently serving as Manager of Engineering Education at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences since 1988. Responsibilities include coordinating part-time engineering studies, managing graduation assignments, and participating in curriculum development and quality control. Previous roles at the university encompass seniorlecturer positions in engineering disciplines, particularly in energy engineering, mechanics, and systematic innovation, along with mentoring students. Paul has also held leadership roles, including temporary Head of Engineering Design and Innovation, and previously served as a lecturer in petroleum and gas technology at the Instituut voor Petroleum- en Gastechnologie Noorder Haaks. With a Master of Science in Astrophysics from the University of Amsterdam, Paul has a solid educational foundation complemented by teaching experience in high school physics.
