Stan Majoor

Stan Majoor serves as a Bijzonder Hoogleraar Lokale Planologische Professionals at the Universiteit van Amsterdam, focusing on the roles of local planning professionals in addressing sustainability transitions and social issues in neighborhoods. Majoor has extensive experience in urban governance, serving as Lector Coördinatie Grootstedelijke Vraagstukken and as Scientific Director of the Centre of Expertise Urban Governance and Social Innovation at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam. Previous roles include organizing seminars for the Gemeente Amsterdam and acting as editor for Rooilijn, a journal for science and policy in spatial planning.
