Susanne Balm is a seasoned researcher and project leader at Hogeschool van Amsterdam since August 2014, focusing on sustainable urban logistics and multifunctional hubs. Notable projects include "Duurzame buurtlogistiek," which explores the value of collaborative business models for urban logistics providers, and "Gas op elektrisch," examining the use of alternative vehicles within urban services. Susanne has also contributed to the CIVIC project aimed at optimizing transport for urban construction sites and the LEVV-LOGIC project that investigates light electric freight vehicles for city logistics. Previous experience includes a consultancy role at TNO on sustainable logistics and participation in the Shopping Tomorrow initiative aimed at enhancing urban distribution insights.
