Adel Hattab

Adel Hattab is the CEO of HögforsGST, a role held since 2024, and serves on the Board of Directors of Promeco Group Oy since 2023. They previously led Helvar as Chief Executive Officer from 2017 to 2024. Earlier in their career, they held senior leadership positions at Nokia and Nokia Networks, including VP of Technical Sales (2011–2013), VP of Sales, Operator Channel and Key Accounts (2008–2011), and Head of Subregion (VP level) at Nokia Siemens Networks (2007–2008), as well as VP, Middle East and Africa for Nokia Networks. They also served as President of Markets Unit at Outotec (2014–2017) and SVP EMEA for Metso Automation (2013–2014). They earned an MBA in Finance from MIT/Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration (1991–1992) and an MSc in Process Metallurgy, International Marketing from Helsinki University of Technology (1982–1990).
