Maria Marklund

Maria Marklund is an experienced design professional currently serving as Acting Team Manager Design and DesignOps Manager at Hogia Group since May 2022, where a focus on optimizing design processes and enhancing innovation is emphasized. Previously, Maria held various positions including UX Designer & Strategist at Collabra AB and Senior Design Manager at Essity, where strategic oversight of the Tork brand was provided across multiple regions and product categories. With a strong foundation in industrial design, obtained through a Master of Science from Luleå University of Technology and further education at Stanford University, Maria has developed expertise in product development, brand strategy, and user-centered design throughout a career that spans over 16 years in various roles, including Design Manager at SCA Hygiene Products and Design Engineer at Semcon Caran AB.
