Gareth Collins is a seasoned cyber security professional with extensive experience across various prestigious organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Cyber Security at Hoist Finance since August 2022, Gareth previously held the role of Senior Manager - Digital News Risk at Dow Jones from September 2021 to August 2022. Prior to that, Gareth worked at the BBC as Information Security Manager (Operations) from May 2020 to September 2021 and as Information Security Specialist: Digital Forensics and Investigations from June 2016 to December 2018, where responsibilities included leading digital forensics support for cyber-security incidents and managing the BBC's eDiscovery function. Additional experience includes serving as Incident Response Manager - Cyber Threat Operations at PwC from December 2018 to May 2020 and as a Senior Analyst/Strategist at the UK Civil Service from October 2008 to June 2016, along with a role as Document Exploitation Analyst - Fraud Investigations at HM Revenue & Customs from September 2003 to October 2008.
