Tak Wing Louie AIA, LEED AP, is a seasoned registered architect with over 23 years of extensive experience in prominent design and engineering firms. Currently serving as a Senior Associate and Senior Project Architect at HOK since December 2012, Tak specializes in Science + Technology and Healthcare projects, demonstrating a strong capability in delivering complex institutional projects for academic and healthcare clients. Previous roles include Engineering Technician at Vidaris, Inc., Senior Technical Architect at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP, Architectural Designer at Mitchell|Giurgola Architects, LLP, and Architectural Designer at Cannon Design. Notable projects include the Mount Sinai Hospital Leon & Norma Hess Center for Science & Medicine and the Yale University Class of 1954 Chemistry Research Building, both of which received multiple awards for design excellence. Tak holds a Master's degree in Architecture from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Architectural Studies from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, along with additional studies at the University of California, Berkeley, and Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
