Liliana Sanchez-Andres has a wide range of work experience in the media industry. Liliana worked at HolaDoctor, Inc. as the VP and Editor-in-Chief, responsible for delivering relevant and engaging content for the U.S. Hispanic audience. Prior to that, they worked at Univision Communications where they held various roles including VP, Editor in Chief, VP of Programming, and Director of Content. At Univision, they were in charge of defining daily content for a general interest portal and managing a diverse team. Liliana also participated as a judging participant for the FNPI Awards in Digital Journalism at Fundación Nuevo Periodismo Iberoamericano. In addition, they were a Fellow at John S. Knight Fellowships for Professional Journalists, specializing in new media and digital extensions of traditional media. Liliana also worked at Grupo Diarios de America, where they coordinated the daily online interchange of news items among eleven Latin American newspapers to promote integration. Finally, Liliana began their career as a writer and editor at diario LA NACION in Buenos Aires. Overall, they have extensive experience in editorial leadership, content management, and digital media strategy.

Liliana Sanchez-Andres has a diverse education history in the field of journalism. In 1984, they attended the School of Journalism at Columbia, Missouri, where they focused on journalism studies. Following this, in 1986, they enrolled in the National Institute of Computer-Assisted Reporting (NICAR), receiving a non-degree education in Investigative Reporting.

Moving forward in their career, in 1998, Liliana pursued further professional development at Stanford University as part of the John S. Knight Fellowship for Professional Journalists. Liliana gained valuable experience during their time there.

Aside from formal degree programs, Liliana also engaged in additional training and education. Liliana participated in programs at the Poynter Institute, focusing on Journalism, Digital content production, Visual Journalism, and Social Media. Additionally, Liliana holds a Bachelor's degree in Filosophy, Literature, and Linguistics from the University of Buenos Aires.
