Chitra Rajeshwari

Chitra Rajeshwari is a trustee at Holberton School and the executive director of Avasant Foundation. Chitra has dedicated their career to uplifting and providing opportunities to the needy in underdeveloped and emerging economies.

Chitra has raised over $4 million dollars internationally to support Avasant Foundation programs, developed and managed job-related skills training programs to support 800+ deserving youths in LATAM, and developed the Digital Jobs Africa program in partnership with Rockefeller Foundation.

Chitra has also partnered with the American Indian foundation to provide over 16,000 students with access to technology across 66 schools in India, and developed and managed the training for over 200 teachers in India on dynamic approaches to curriculum delivery and teaching methodologies.

In recognition of their work, they have been recognized by the Clinton Global Initiative, for enabling the employment of over 94% of deserving youth in Jamaica and Haiti, and by the IAOP as an Influencer Awardee for championing Impact Sourcing in 2018 2019 2020 and 2021.

Chitra Rajeshwari has a certificate in sustainability reporting from the ISOS Group in Berkeley, California. Chitra also has an executive MBA in sustainability management from Presidio Graduate School and is a certified life coach from the Coaches Training Institute. Chitra has a bachelor's degree in economics, history, and sociology from Bangalore University.
