Evan S. is an experienced professional in sustainability and environmental management, currently involved with the Materials & Embodied Carbon Leaders’ Alliance (MECLA) as a member of the Project Leadership Group and Chair of the Cement and Concrete Working Group, focusing on transforming the construction sector towards Net-Zero emissions. Holding the position of National Sustainability Manager at Holcim Australia since 2013, Evan contributes to promoting sustainable construction solutions and ensuring environmental compliance across multiple extraction and production sites. Previous roles include environmental management for significant infrastructure projects, and planning and environmental advisory positions across various organizations, including Queensland Rail and City North Infrastructure. Evan holds a Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honours in Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor of Environmental Technology, both from Griffith University.
